Exploring our planets...a fun journey to space!
I am an English Language and Literature teacher at St. George's College. I have been teaching at St. George's College since 2008.
I am also a certified basketball Coach. I am a writer of poetry, prose and music and I enjoy watching and playing both football and basketball.
Being the very enthusiactic person I am, the expeirences gained in putting together a second website was even more fun. It comes with greater challenges though. Having thought this website was completed, I only realized that the format was not in keeping with the purposes outline. Nevertheless, it has proven to be fun and if asked, I will be more than willing to do it over and over again.
This website, is an assignment of my Advanced Instructional Technology course which is being done as a partial fumfilment of a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree.
As an educator, I am inspired to reinforce all that I am being taught within this programme through daily application in my classrooms.

I am a purpose driven individual who shares the philosophy that in order to enjoy true happiness one must discover their purpose and do the necessary to fulfill it while alive. I am a trained educator working as a teacher for the past two years.
Currently, I seek to continue on the path of education as I believe it is a medium through which one can be transformed and live a fulfilling life. My passion lies in motivation and helping others to see their true potential. As a twenty first century teacher, I believe you will be left behind and you will be leaving the children behind if you do not integrate the use of technology within your classrooms.
I am a life that is filled with hope, inspired and transformed to share with the use of two gifted hands. A legacy of inspirations and a heart with exceptional wisdom of love. A wife with an exceptional husband, a mother with three beautiful children, a graduate of Northern Caribbean University with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. A Registered Nurse at Kingston Public Hospital, where caring is sharing, providing holistic care for patients with varied medical conditions. An inspiring, self- motivated individual whose motto stands firm, "per adra adastra", Through difficulties I attain the highest.
As we explore the Solar System, I looked at the Webquest which is integrated in to the Wiki, looking at the contributions to the composition of the Solar System. From the webquest, I looked at the Solar System as it represents only the tiniest fraction of the Universe as a whole, however because it is our immediate neighbourhood and its members can be considered Earth’s immediate family, which has long been the subject of great interest.

​I have been teaching at the primary level for over ten years.
Creating the photostory was both a challenging and rewarding experience. The photostory on this site is an excellent way to cater for children with multiple intellencies. I hope you will enjoy listening, reading and viewing it.

ABOUT TECH SAVVY TEACHERS
The Team you are about to meet worked tirelesly and collaboratively to put this website together.
It was a completely different and most importantly, rewarding experience to work cohesively together to undertake the tasks. It is an experience like never before, that teaches us the importance of team spirit.
It has now become clear to us as learners, that once we join together to undertake any task, we can pull it off smoothly together, without having to stick with the traditional way of doing group assignments - to split up the work.
It is hoped that the Tech Savvy Teachers can inspire other groups to take this approach in whatever they do.
